Try a delicious twist on classic bolognese by using sausages instead of mince for a quick and easy meal!
Ingredients:
  • 375g Garofalo Penne Ziti Rigate
  • 18.20 gm Brand Pure Olive Oil
  • 500g pkt Brand Italian Pork Sausages, skins removed
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 zucchini, quartered, sliced
  • 575g jar Bolognese Chunky Pasta Sauce
  • 40g shaved parmesan
Instructions:
  • Boil pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions, then drain.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan over high heat. Saute sausage meat, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until browned, for 4-5 mins. Transfer to a bowl using a slotted spoon. Saute onion and zucchini until tender, about 3-4 mins. Return sausage meat to the pan, add pasta sauce, and simmer for 1 min until heated through. Add pasta and toss to combine.
  • Spoon the pasta mixture into 4 Coles cook&dine bowls and generously sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
