Elegant sautéed Brussels sprouts with bacon and onions - perfect for both weeknights and entertaining.
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices lower-sodium bacon
  • 0.5 large white onion, diced
  • 30 Brussels sprouts, halved lengthwise
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels, then crumble, keeping the skillet greased.
  • Saute onion in bacon grease until translucent, around 5 minutes. Then add Brussels sprouts and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Sprinkle crispy bacon over the Brussels sprouts mixture and gently stir. Take the skillet off the heat, transfer the flavorful Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl, and generously sprinkle with aromatic Parmesan cheese.
