Elevate green beans with crisp pistachios for a festive twist.
Ingredients:
  • 600g green beans, topped
  • 60g butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 115g (3/4 cup) pistachio kernels, coarsely chopped
  • 62.50 ml chopped fresh continental parsley
Instructions:
  • Boil the beans in a large saucepan of water for 2-3 minutes until vibrant green and tender-crisp. Drain well.
  • In a large frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
  • Toss beans and pistachios in the pan for 2 minutes until beans are heated through. Season with salt and pepper, then stir in parsley before serving.
