Quick and delicious Italian meatballs in marinara sauce perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 pound extra-lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 0.25 cup dried plain bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Greek seasoning
  • 2 (20 ounce) jars marinara sauce, or more to taste
  • 1 pinch white sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions:
  • Combine ketchup and milk in a bowl, then add beef, egg, bread crumbs, and Greek seasoning, and mix until well combined.
  • Simmer marinara sauce in a small pot over low heat until heated through.
  • Shape the beef mixture into meatballs and gently place them in the simmering sauce. Sprinkle with sugar and cayenne pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until meatballs are cooked through and the sauce is heated, about 25 to 30 minutes.
