Slow cook beef chuck roast all day in coffee, steak seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato sauce for a uniquely flavorful and tender dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (4 pound) boneless beef chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Montreal-style steak seasoning
  • 1 cube beef bouillon
  • 1 cup hot strong black coffee
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Massage the chuck roast with the rich flavor of 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, ensuring it's well coated, then generously sprinkle all sides with savory steak seasoning.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sizzle the roast in olive oil until beautifully browned on each side, about 5 minutes per side. Place the seared roast into a slow cooker.
  • Combine the beef bouillon cube with coffee to create a rich broth for the roast. Pour this flavorful mixture over the meat. Top it with tomato sauce, sprinkle with oregano, and finish by drizzling 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce over the meat.
  • Slow cook the meat on Low until it becomes tender, which should take about 8 to 10 hours.
