Slow cooker kielbasa and pineapple: A no-fuss, delicious blend of hearty sausage and sweet tangy pineapple, effortlessly made.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple rings in juice, cubed and juice reserved
  • 1 pound kielbasa (Polish) sausage, cut into quarter moon pieces
  • 2 medium onions, cut into wedges and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 0.66666668653488 cup rice vinegar
  • 0.66666668653488 cup brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons ketchup
Instructions:
  • Layer the pineapple, kielbasa, and onions in the base of the slow cooker.
  • Whisk water and cornstarch together until smooth in a bowl.
  • Combine reserved pineapple juice, rice vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, and soy sauce in a saucepan. Simmer, then add cornstarch slurry. Stir until thickened, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and drizzle over slow cooker ingredients. Mix to coat evenly.
  • Let kielbasa cook on High until fully cooked and the mixture thickens and reduces, about 3 to 4 hours.
