Succulent kielbasa sausages cooked in a perfectly balanced sweet and tangy sauce for a simple, crowd-pleasing dish.
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 (28 ounce) bottle ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1.5 teaspoons spicy brown mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
  • 1 pound kielbasa sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and saute onions until tender. Add brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper sauce. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Place the sausage in a slow cooker with the sauce and onions and let it simmer on Low for 4 to 5 hours. Remember, the longer it cooks, the more flavorful it will be!
