Create a delicious slow cooker dip using just five ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese (6 ounces)
  • 3/4 cup drained sauerkraut
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 packages (2 1/2 ounces each) thinly sliced corned beef, chopped
  • Cocktail rye bread slices or pretzel crackers, if desired
Instructions:
  • Prepare your 1- to 2 1/2-quart slow cooker by spraying the inside with cooking spray. Combine all ingredients except crackers and spoon the mixture into the slow cooker.
  • Simmer covered on low heat for 1 hour until cheese is melted. Stir until cheese is smooth, then cover and continue cooking for an additional hour.
  • Use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides of the cooker to prevent the edges of the spread from scorching. Serve the spread with rye bread. It can be kept on Low for up to 2 hours.
