Slow-Cooker Santa Fe Country Ribs

Elevate your ribs with zesty salsa and spicy chili sauce for a flavorful twist!
Ingredients:
  • 2 lb boneless country-style pork ribs
  • 3/4 cup thick & chunky salsa
  • 3/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste (from 6-oz can)
Instructions:
  • Prepare the slow cooker by spraying it with cooking spray. Add pork ribs and season with salt. In a small bowl, combine salsa, chili sauce, cumin, and ground red pepper; pour over the ribs.
  • Cover and simmer on Low for 8 to 9 hours.
  • Take out the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on a serving platter. Pour 1 cup of cooking juices from the slow cooker into a 2-cup measuring cup or bowl. Mix in the tomato paste and spoon the mixture over the ribs.
