Indulge in a savory slow-cooked beef and vegetable dish for a luxurious dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 pounds beef boneless round steak, about 3/4 inch thick
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppered seasoned salt
  • 6 to 8 new potatoes, cut into fourths
  • 1 1/2 cups baby-cut carrots
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano, undrained
  • 1 jar (12 ounces) home-style beef gravy
  • Chopped fresh parsley, if desired
Instructions:
  • Trim excess fat from the beef and cut it into 6 serving pieces. Heat a 12-inch skillet sprayed with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Season the beef with seasoned salt and cook in the skillet for about 8 minutes, flipping once, until browned.
  • Create a flavorful masterpiece by arranging potatoes, carrots, beef, and onion in a 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker. Then, combine tomatoes and gravy and pour over the beef and veggies. Your taste buds are in for a treat!
  • Slow-cook until beef and veggies are tender, about 7 to 9 hours on low heat. Finish by sprinkling with fresh parsley.
