Elevate your party spread with a quick and elegant pink smoked salmon dip that pairs perfectly with both crackers and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped chives, plus more for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons small capers
  • 2 lemons
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces smoked salmon, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Aleppo pepper or a pinch of cayenne (optional), to taste
Instructions:
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, combine cream cheese and sour cream until smooth on medium speed. Add chives, mustard, capers, lemon zest and juice, and black pepper on low. Mix until well blended. Optional: you can use a food processor and transfer to a bowl or mix by hand.
  • Gently incorporate the chopped salmon by hand, along with the Aleppo or cayenne pepper if desired. Adjust the flavor by adding lemon juice, 1 teaspoon at a time, to taste.
  • To serve, transfer the dip to a bowl and garnish it with fresh chives. Enjoy right away or chill until ready to serve. Pair with crackers or slices of baguette, and store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
