Whip up delicious pork chops in 35 minutes using the perfect broth for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1.75 cups Swanson® Beef Broth or Swanson® Beef Stock
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 6 (5 ounce) boneless pork chops, 3/4-inch thick
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
  • Combine the broth and cornstarch in a small bowl, stirring until smooth. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat a touch of oil over medium-high heat. Season the pork chops with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Sear the pork chops until beautifully browned on both sides, around 5 minutes. Transfer the pork chops to a plate and let them rest.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion until tender-crisp, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the broth mixture and simmer until thickened. Enjoy the flavorful sauce!
  • Place the pork chops back in the skillet, lower the heat, cover, and simmer gently until the pork is fully cooked, approximately 5 minutes. Ensure the pork reaches an internal temperature of at least 145°F (63°C) when tested with an instant-read thermometer.
