Effortless peach cobbler with self-rising flour batter.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup self-rising flour
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 1 (29 ounce) can sliced peaches in light syrup
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C. Put butter in a deep 2 quart baking dish and let it melt in the oven.
  • Combine sugar and flour in a medium bowl. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Pour the batter over melted butter in a dish, then spoon peaches and syrup on top.
  • Place in a hot oven and bake for 35-45 minutes, until the crust is puffed and golden brown.
