Perfectly seared salmon topped with zesty sour cream, lime, and cilantro sauce, ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime peel
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 salmon fillets, skin on (6 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon from 1 packet (.85 oz) Old El Paso™ Chicken Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Combine sour cream, fresh cilantro, zesty lime peel, tangy lime juice, sweet honey, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl; reserve for later.
  • Coat salmon fillets generously with flavorful taco seasoning mix. Warm oil in a skillet over medium heat and carefully place the seasoned fillets in the pan, skin-side down.
  • Sear salmon fillets for 6 to 8 minutes until the skin is golden brown. Carefully flip them over and cook for an additional 2 to 4 minutes, until the salmon easily flakes with a fork.
  • Top the perfectly cooked salmon with a vibrant and refreshing cilantro-lime sauce before serving.
