Spicy, perfectly seasoned air fryer chicken wings - ideal for weeknight dinners or game day.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1.5 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1.5 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste
  • 1.5 pounds chicken wings and drummettes
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C following the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Mix together paprika, chili powder, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne in a small bowl.
  • Wash and dry the chicken, then transfer it to a large bowl. Add oil and mix well to coat. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the chicken and toss until fully seasoned. Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
  • Air fry until chicken wings are cooked through and the juices run clear, about 12 minutes, flipping halfway. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature, aiming for 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). For extra crispiness, increase the temperature to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Allow the dish to rest briefly before serving.
