Spicy Canned Tuna Fish Cakes

Transform canned tuna into flavorful spicy fish cakes in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) can tuna, drained
  • 0.5 cup chopped scallions
  • 0.5 cup dry bread crumbs, or as needed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a bowl, mix tuna, scallions, bread crumbs, egg, mustard, garlic powder, Sriracha, salt, and pepper until well combined. Shape the mixture into 6 equal patties.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Pan-fry the patties until deeply browned and crispy on both sides, approximately 3 minutes per side. Place the patties on a small baking tray.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the fish cakes are firm in the center, about 5 to 7 minutes.
