Enhance cookies with colorful gels for a tantalizing treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • Flour, butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for cutout cookies
  • Betty Crocker™ red and green decorating gels
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, flour, butter, and egg in a medium bowl, stirring until dough comes together.
  • Roll the dough on a floured surface to a 1/4-inch thickness, then use cookie cutters to cut out shapes. Arrange the cut cookies 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet, and decorate them with gels before baking.
  • Bake for 7 to 9 minutes, until lightly golden around edges. Let cool for 1 minute on the cookie sheet before transferring. Allow to cool completely for about 20 minutes.
