Summer in a glass: Frozen rose slushy blending Malbec wine and strawberries.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound strawberries, hulled
  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle Malbec red wine
Instructions:
  • Combine luscious strawberries, sweet sugar, and fresh water in a blender. Blend until velvety smooth.
  • Transfer the mixture into a 9x13-inch baking pan and gently fold in the wine.
  • Chill the mixture in the freezer, stirring halfway through, until it becomes slushy, which should take about 4 1/2 to 5 hours.
  • Thaw in freezer and gently stir to break up any big frozen chunks.
