Ingredients:
  • Apples, sliced
  • Peanut butter
  • Bananas, sliced
  • 8 slices white sandwich bread
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Butter, for coating skillet
  • Cream cheese, softened
  • Canned cherry pie filling
Instructions:
  • Trim the crusts off white bread slices and gently flatten with a rolling pin.
  • Spread your favorite filling on one side of each slice of bread. Get creative with combinations like cream cheese with fruit or peanut butter and banana. Roll up the slice of bread tightly and repeat for the remaining slices.
  • Whisk eggs and milk in a shallow dish. In a separate dish, combine sugar and cinnamon.
  • Heat butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat until melted and coating the skillet. Dip rolls in egg mixture, then place in skillet in batches of 3 or 4, cooking until browned. Roll in cinnamon sugar until fully coated. Serve right away.
