Candied pecans: Crunchy sugar-coated nuts with a hint of cinnamon, baked to perfection for a sweet and addictive snack.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pound pecan halves
Instructions:
  • Turn on your oven to a toasty 250 degrees Fahrenheit (120 degrees Celsius) and give a quick spritz of cooking spray on a baking sheet.
  • In a medium bowl, vigorously whisk egg white and water until frothy. In a separate bowl, combine sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Coat pecans in egg white mixture, then toss them in sugar mixture until fully coated. Spread pecans onto prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes until crispy.
