Ingredients:
  • 1 orange
  • 165g rice
  • 500ml milk
  • 300ml cream
  • Orange segments, to serve
Instructions:
  • Peel the orange rind and remove any white pith. Combine the rind, rice, milk, cream, and sugar in a large saucepan. Cook over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Increase heat slightly and bring to a boil.
  • Simmer the mixture on low heat, stirring occasionally, for around 30 minutes until the liquid is mostly absorbed and the rice is tender.
  • Peel off and discard the orange rind. Serve promptly with orange segments on top.
