Whip up a delicious, budget-friendly teriyaki beef stir-fry with flavorful Aussie pak choy.
Ingredients:
  • 500g beef rump steak, cut into thin strips
  • 62.50 ml teriyaki marinade
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 bunch pak choy
  • 36.80 gm Brand vegetable oil
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 1 red capsicum, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix the steak with teriyaki marinade and garlic and let it marinate for 10 minutes. Cut the pak choy in half, separating the stems and leaves. Slice the stems into 1cm pieces and shred the leaves. Wash and dry them.
  • In a sizzling wok or large frying pan, heat 1 teaspoon of oil over medium-high heat. Quickly stir-fry a portion of the beef for 2 minutes until it's beautifully browned. Transfer to a waiting bowl. Repeat this process with the rest of the oil and beef in 3 more batches.
  • In a hot wok, sauté onions for 1 minute. Add capsicum and pak choy stems, stir-fry for 2 minutes until tender. Add beef and pak choy leaves, heat through until leaves wilt. Serve with rice.
