Whisk egg white, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, and salt to make a delicious glaze for roasted pecans.
Ingredients:
  • 1 egg white
  • 4 teaspoons water
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound pecan halves
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 250 degrees F (120 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Combine egg, water, and vanilla in a bowl and beat until frothy. Mix in sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add pecans and toss until coated. Spread onto baking sheet.
  • Roast pecans in the preheated oven, stirring every 15 minutes, until glazed, for about 1 hour. Let cool on the baking sheet for at least 10 minutes before serving.
