"Simple yet impressive broccoli casserole, essential for your Thanksgiving feast."
Ingredients:
  • 2 (14 ounce) bags frozen broccoli florets, thawed
  • 1.5 (10.5 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
  • 2 pounds processed cheese food (such as Velveeta ®), sliced
  • 2 sleeves buttery round crackers (such as Ritz®), crushed
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread broccoli evenly in the baking dish and generously drizzle with melted butter and spoon the condensed soup over it. Gently mix until the broccoli is thoroughly coated with the soup. Press down lightly to create an even layer. Next, cover the broccoli with half of the cheese slices, reserving the rest for later.
  • Bake until the cheese is bubbling and golden, approximately 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Stir the melted cheese into the broccoli mixture, layer with the remaining cheese slices, sprinkle with crackers, and drizzle with the remaining melted butter before serving.
  • Place back in the oven and bake for around 15 minutes until the cheese on top starts to melt.
  • Allow the casserole to rest for about 15 minutes before serving to allow it to thicken slightly.
