Indulgent tiramisu poke cake: White cake soaked in coffee drizzle, topped with cream cheese frosting.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (16.25 ounce) package moist white cake mix (such as Betty Crocker® SuperMoist®)
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.33333334326744 cup coffee-flavored liqueur (such as Kahlua®)
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
  • 0.75 teaspoon sea salt, divided
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons coffee-flavored liqueur (such as Kahlua®)
  • 0.5 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, blend cake mix, water, eggs, and oil using an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth, approximately 2 minutes. Pour the batter into the prepared dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 29 to 34 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool for at least 30 minutes.
  • Combine sweetened condensed milk, 1/3 cup coffee-flavored liqueur, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, espresso powder, and 1/2 teaspoon sea salt in a bowl and whisk until the drizzle is smooth.
  • Using the large end of a chopstick or similar tool, gently poke holes all over the cake. Pour the poke drizzle over the cake, making sure it fills the holes. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Whip egg yolks and white sugar in a bowl with an electric mixer until pale and fluffy. Incorporate cream cheese, 3 tablespoons coffee-flavored liqueur, and 1/4 teaspoon salt until combined.
  • Whip heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form in a separate bowl. Gently fold it into the egg yolk mixture until just combined. Pour the topping over the cooled cake, smoothing it out. Dust with 1/2 teaspoon of cocoa powder, cover, and refrigerate.
