Transform sweet brioche into a decadent chocolate dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs, lightly whisked
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) milk
  • 2.20 gm vanilla extract
  • 20.00 gm butter
  • 2 x 2cm-thick slices brioche, halved
  • 4 scoops honeycomb and butterscotch ice-cream
  • 100g good-quality dark chocolate, chopped
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) thin cream
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate and cream. Stir constantly with a metal spoon for 4 minutes until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together egg, milk, and vanilla extract. Heat butter in a medium frying pan over medium heat until foamy. Dip brioche slices into the egg mixture, coating evenly, then transfer to the frying pan. Cook for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Serve in bowls.
  • Place 2 scoops of ice cream on top of the brioche, generously drizzle with chocolate sauce, and serve.
