Ingredients:
  • 8 thick slices day-old wood-fired bread
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled, halved
  • 36.40 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 125.00 ml basil leaves, shredded
  • Salt flakes, to season
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Toast the bread slices on both sides until golden. While still hot, rub one side of each slice with fresh garlic and drizzle each with a teaspoon of oil.
  • Top the bread with a generous spoonful of fresh tomatoes. Sprinkle the vibrant basil over the tomatoes. Finish with a pinch of salt and a crack of black pepper to enhance the flavors. Serve promptly and enjoy!
