Tuna salsa tostadas: a fresh, flavorful twist on the classic tuna salad, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tuna
  • 5 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons salsa
  • 6 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 (6 inch) corn tortillas
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 0.5 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 0.5 cup diced onion
  • 4 tablespoons shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 avocado, sliced
Instructions:
  • Combine the tuna, mayonnaise, and salsa in a bowl, then let it sit for a bit.
  • In a hot frying pan, fry tortillas in batches with a touch of vegetable oil until they turn golden and slightly crisp, which should take about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Evenly layer the delicious tuna mixture on the tortillas. Add fresh tomatoes, spinach, and onions. Sprinkle with flavorful Cheddar cheese and finish off with creamy avocado slices on top.
