Crispy mushrooms elevate these juicy turkey patties to gourmet status.
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 250g small button mushrooms, sliced
  • 500g turkey mince
  • 62.50 ml fresh dill sprigs, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 4 white bread rolls, split
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber
  • 4 green oak lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 4 slices reduced-fat tasty cheese, shaved
  • 46.80 gm cranberry sauce
Instructions:
  • In a frying pan over medium heat, sauté onions and mushrooms in half of the oil until mushrooms are golden, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  • Mix mushroom mixture, minced meat, dill, and lemon pepper in a bowl, then shape into 4 patties using damp hands.
  • Heat the remaining oil in a pan over medium heat, then add the patties and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until they are fully cooked. Transfer the cooked patties to a plate.
  • Toast the bread rolls until golden. Use a vegetable peeler to create cucumber ribbons. Arrange lettuce, tomato, cucumber, patties, cheese, cranberry sauce, and the top of the rolls on the bottom halves. Enjoy your delicious creation.
