Indulgent coffee caramel sauce with only two ingredients. Drizzle over desserts or store for up to a week. Elevate your sweet treats with the perfect blend of bitter espresso and sweet condensed milk. Try it once and you'll be hooked!
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 125ml (½ cup) espresso coffee, warm
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C/160C fan forced. Set a 2.5L (10 cup) baking dish in a large roasting pan and fill it with the condensed milk.
  • 1. Cover the baking dish tightly with foil. Place the dish in a roasting pan and carefully pour boiling water into the pan, filling it halfway up the side of the baking dish. Bake for 2 hours or until the mixture turns a deep caramel color and slightly firms up, adding more water every 30 minutes as needed.
  • Scoop the creamy caramel into a heatproof non-metallic bowl. Mix in the coffee until smooth. Serve warm or at room temperature, or chill and store in a sealed jar in a cool, dark place for up to 1 week.
