Effortless two-ingredient cupcakes using fruit-flavored soda for a burst of flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ White Cake Mix
  • 1 can (12 oz) carbonated beverage of choice
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Frosting (any flavor), if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (or 350°F for dark or nonstick pans) and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to blend the dry cake mix and carbonated beverage on medium speed for 2 minutes, making sure to scrape the sides of the bowl occasionally. Then, evenly distribute the batter among the muffin cups.
  • Bake for 14 to 19 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely in about 30 minutes. Frost the cupcakes and store them loosely covered at room temperature.
