Creamy, crunchy Thanksgiving casserole pairs perfectly with chicken and pork chops. Comforting on a rainy day.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (15.5 ounce) can French-style green beans, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can sliced potatoes, drained
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1.125 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons French-fried onions, divided
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1 (8 ounce) package dry bread stuffing mix
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine green beans, potatoes, cream of celery soup, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a 2-quart casserole dish. Mix in 1 tablespoon of French fried onions and sprinkle the rest on top.
  • Bake the casserole for 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Meanwhile, make the stuffing following the package directions. Once done, spread the stuffing over the casserole, and use a spatula to evenly flatten it across the dish.
  • Continue baking in the oven for approximately 10 minutes until crispy, or opt to broil for a few minutes for an added crunch.
