Vietnamese Dipping Sauce

Versatile sauce for rice rolls, BBQ meats, salads. Mix with oil, lime juice for smaller batches. Refrigerate non-vinegar version.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup fish sauce
  • 0.75 cup rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 dried red chile pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • Mix together fish sauce, rice vinegar, water, sugar, garlic powder, and chile pepper in a bowl until sugar dissolves. Adjust flavors to your liking. Transfer to bottles and seal.
