Ingredients:
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:
  • Gently melt the chocolate over low heat. Cream together the sugar and butter (or margarine). Stir in the melted chocolate until well combined.
  • Combine the eggs with the dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
  • Preheat waffle iron and grease with non-stick spray.
  • Spoon 1 tablespoon of dough into each section of the preheated iron.
  • Bake until cookies are golden brown, being cautious as they can easily burn.
  • Frost the dish with a white powdered sugar frosting, following the Vanilla Glaze recipe.
