Elevated twist on traditional bake-sale brownies.
Ingredients:
  • 125g butter, softened
  • 90.00 gm brown sugar
  • 250.00 ml plain flour
  • 100g white chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 187.50 ml (110g packet) dry-roasted macadamia nuts, roughly chopped
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced, and grease a 3cm-deep, 16cm x 26cm slice pan. Line it with baking paper, leaving a 2cm overhang on the long ends.
  • With an electric mixer, whip butter and sugar until creamy. Mix in flour. Pour mixture into pan. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden. Take out of the oven and let it cool for 15 minutes before serving.
  • Top the cooled base with a generous amount of chocolate and nuts. Pour the condensed milk evenly over the chocolate mixture. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the edges are a deep golden color and the center is just firm to the touch. Allow it to cool completely in the pan before cutting it into squares. Serve and enjoy!
