Elevate blondies with a rich chocolate drizzle for irresistible flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon rum extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 bag (12 oz) white chocolate chunks
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chunks (from 12-oz bag)
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to mix together brown sugar, butter, vanilla extract, rum extract, and eggs until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in mixer on low speed until fully mixed. Fold in white chocolate chunks and walnuts. Spread batter evenly in an ungreased 13x9-inch pan.
  • Bake for 25 to 35 minutes until the top is golden brown and set. Let it cool completely for about 2 hours.
  • Microwave semisweet chocolate chunks and oil in a small microwavable bowl on High for 30-60 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds until melted. Stir well. Spread the chocolate glaze over the brownies. To drizzle, place glaze in a small plastic food-storage bag, cut off a small tip from one corner of the bag, and drizzle in diagonal lines over the brownies. Allow the glaze to set. Cut the brownies into 6 rows by 6 rows.
