Delicious and healthy Banana French Toast Sandwich with vanilla and cinnamon, perfect for a syrup-free breakfast.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons liquid egg substitute
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla-flavored soy milk (such as Silk®)
  • 1 dash vanilla extract
  • 1 dash ground cinnamon
  • 1 banana, thinly sliced
  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • cooking spray
Instructions:
  • Mix together the egg substitute, soy milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  • Layer banana slices over one slice of bread. Top with another slice of bread and gently press to secure the sandwich. Dip the sandwich in the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated.
  • Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and spray with cooking spray. Add the sandwich and cook until golden brown on both sides, for about 3 minutes per side.
